Métis Land and Place-making

UM Fort Garry Campus Walk and Talk

Luncheon, Sept. 28, 12:30-1:30 PM

This Walk and Talk explores Métis relationships with land and place on the University of Manitoba’s Fort Garry Campus. Learn about the former red river lots that stretch across campus, discover Métis art and stories, and discuss the ways that land and place have influenced the Métis (and vice-versa!).

The Walk and Talk will begin and end at Migizii Agamik (Bald Eagle Lodge), Indigenous Student Centre (114 Sydney Smith St.).
